Sarah Guill

Sarah Guill has worked with Cumberland County Department of Social Services for 25 years. She is a program manager in the Children Services Section. Her expertise is in training, quality assurance and systems improvement. She has worked with families and children in the areas of foster care, adoptions and economic services. Ms. Guill participates as a county representative on workgroups and initiatives with the community partners and with NC Division of Social Services focused on improving outcomes for families and children, trauma-focused practice and quality assurance and training. Ms. Guill graduated from Appalachian State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She received certification as a MAPP Trainer for Foster Parents/Adoptive Parents in 1996. She received certification from the NC Division of Social Services to train Child Welfare in NC (Pre-Service for Child Welfare Social Workers from April 1994-September 2007, as a county trainer. Ms. Guill was certified as a facilitator for the NC Division of Social Services Coaching Curriculum in 2012.
